Our Story
Savours was inspired by three sisters who were
passionate about sharing their Indian heritage and healthy, nutritious eating. Priya, Sereena, and Alexa Kaul's family left Kashmir to live in the United Kingdom in the 1970s. They grew up in Derbyshire watching their mother prepare delicious meals, such as Dahl, Korma, and Rogan Josh, using fresh spices from Kashmir. As the years went by, they continued to use these recipes to prepare food for their own families. Their friends wanted to know their secret for cooking traditional Indian dishes, so they decided to share it by writing a cookbook.
